IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) 2020-2021 Prelims exam took place on 26th December 2020. The Mains is scheduled on 24th January 2021.

Few questions asked for IBPS SO Marketing officer were:

  • Firstly, like all other interviews, you are asked to introduce yourself.
  • List the items that are under the Bank Balance Sheet.
  • Define cheque and explain about the bodies involved in it.
  • Name the Union Commerce Minister of India.
  • Explain about priority sector lending.
  • Explain about Bank assurance.
  • Discuss about GST.
  • Discussion on home loan and how to persuade a customer for the same?
  • Explain about Marketing Research and the responsibilities of Marketing Officer in Banks.

Questions are mostly specific to the candidate’s educational background and the position applied for. The questions listed above were asked to a commerce student who had pursued MBA. So the interview questions for a science student from an Engineering background would be related to the concepts in engineering. The questions vary accordingly.
