What is better at IIITM Gwalior, CSE or integrated IT?

IIITM Gwalior is the oldest IIT in India and ranks 81 among the top engineering colleges in 2019. The CSE and IT streams at IIITM Gwalior are excellent in all aspects. The placements offered at IIITM Gwalior is nearly 95% every year.

Admission details:-

• The primary eligibility criteria is a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 with PCM as compulsory subjects.
• The final selection of the candidates depends on the JEE Main scores.

Placement: 

In the 2019-20 placement session, more than 200 students were placed in top-notch MNCs. A total of 18% students were offered PPOs. More than 65 recruiters participated in the campus recruitment who offered 70 students a package above INR 10 LPA.

The major recruiters are Dell, IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Verizon, Acxiom, American Express, etc.

Faculty:-

There are a total of more than 38 full-time and a few supplement faculty members. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and experts in their fields. They have vast amount of knowledge and teaching experience and guide the students in the best possible way. 

Campus life:-

Life at IITM Gwalior is pretty carefree and smooth as compared to other NITs and IITs. The college organizes regular fests and functions for the students every year. The campus is lush green with very good infrastructure facilities.

IITM Gwalior offers the following features:-

• Hostel: The institute has three boys hostels and one girl’s hostel with many facilities. The boys' hostel has 313 students, 311 students, and 256 students, respectively. Girls’ Hostel has a total of 135 students. 
• Library: The library has a rich collection of 15,000 references and textbooks on a wide range of topics.
• Laboratories: Various kinds of laboratories have been developed in the institute. The institute has more than 400 Pentium computer systems from different manufacturers such as Compaq, HP, HCL, Silicon Graphics, etc.
