XLRI ranks 9th on the NIRF scale. It has been ranked at #1 in the Business and the Outlook. It is followed by MDI on #10 same as SP Jain.

Where XLRI and MDI have a 100% placement rate in general; SP Jain has a 76%-80% placement rate.

Where MDI has policy makers, academicians and managers as its teaching staff. SP Jain has in its permanent faculty, professors from Oxford University and the University of Geneva.

Infrastructure and Career Facilities

  • SP Jain institute has a cultural center, Yogkutir, cafeterias, libraries and hostels on-campus. It also holds an annual SBAC event in which leaders from the Indian business world participate.
  • MDI has a library, a corporate centre, students' and executives' hostels and a computer centre. In addition to this MDI is the first internationally accredited B-School and has an exchange program facility in which 2 of 3 brightest students get to study abroad. It also holds about 4-5 international conferences each year.
  • XLRI also has an international student exchange program and is the oldest and most prestigious B-SCHOOL in South Asia. It has 204 hostel rooms, 2 seminar halls, AV conference room, and a language lab as well.

Placement Data

  • XLRI saw multiple domestic offers at INR 50 LPA by the BFSI sector. 43% of the 2020 batch was recruited by PPOs. The major recruiters were KPMG, GAIL and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
  • The Major recruiters at MDI were Axis Bank; American Express, Yes Bank and Aditya Birla.
  • SP Jain students received 300 offers in 2020 with an average payment of 26.3 LPA which was 15.1% higher than the one made in 2019. The major recruiters were Bain and Company, Hindustan Unilever and Bajaj Finserv.

All the aforementioned institutes are infrastructurally advanced and have partnerships with industries. Hence students can select based on Res utilisation.
