There is no such mandatory cut off bracket specified by the university. The eligibility to take admission to various courses differs.

  • For admission to BE courses students are required to have 10+2 from the science stream with at least 60% marks. The admission basis would be the JEE Main score.
  • For BArch, the eligibility requirement is 10+2 with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Admission is through the score in NATA or JEE MAIN Paper 2.
  • For courses like BCA, BBA, B.COM, B.PHYSIO, and PHARMA.D., the admission is based on merit and academic records. The University also conducts personal interviews for selection.
  • MBA admission at Chitkara University is based on the CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. For the final selection, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews are conducted.
  • For Ph.D. candidates, there is a University-based entrance exam followed by an interview.

The above-mentioned courses are the major ones; the rest of them like B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral also have their respective criterion that is similar to B.E. It's usually observed that Chitkara University has a flexible approach while admitting students for its Engineering programs. It indicated that an average score could land you up at a good stream.
