I have a few friends from VTU and according to them, you can check the status of your transcript on the official website of the institute.

When you first visit the site, look to the right for the area below.
In the second box, enter the GSC number (which starts with UE and is 15 alphanumeric digits long) that was sent to your cell phone.
Your transcript's status page will be routed to this site.
