Which is better, VIIT Pune, PVG Pune, or YCCE Nagpur or MIT Alandi?

Among these, VIIT Pune is the best choice. It is the second campus of VIT Pune and well-reputed among the engineering colleges in Pune. 

It has a good placement record. The average and highest CTC offered during VIIT Pune placement 2022 were INR 32 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively.

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology(VIIT), Pune Vidhyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering and Technology(PVG), Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur, and the MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) all of these institutes are reputed engineering institute of Maharashtra. All four of these institutes have their advantages and disadvantages.

Admission Procedure-

VIIT, PVG, YCCE, and MITAOE offer various courses under UG and PG discipline. The admission is through the relevant entrance exams. Admission to BE/BTech courses are based on the performance of the students in JEE Main or MHT-CET. For ME/MTech admission is done through GATE.

Facilities-

VIIT: The college is built over a 7-acre campus and has many facilities such as a digital library, off-campus hostel, cafeterias, sports facilities, and laboratories for each course. The college also provides shuttle service to students and an on-campus convenience store.

PVG: The college is built over an 8-acre campus and has a boys hostel, and other facilities like laboratories, sports complexes, and canteens.

YCCE: The college is built over a large 14-acre campus and has a well-maintained library, gymnasium, hostels, swimming pool, and other basic facilities.

MITAOE: The college is built over a vast 11-acre campus and has facilities such as sports facilities, hostel, and auditorium.

Placements-

VIIT: The college has a placement rate of 80%. Companies such as Cognizant, Infosys, and L&T visit the campus for placements. The average placement package offered is 3.5 LPA, with the highest package going up to 21 LPA.

PVG: The college has a placement rate of 75%. Companies such as Mahindra, Atlas Copco., etc. come for placements. The average package received is 4 LPA and the highest package goes up to 15.5 LPA.

YCCE: The college has a 90% placement rate. Companies such as Capgemini and Accenture visit the campus for placements. The average package offered is 3 LPA and the highest package goes up to 8 LPA.

MITAOE: The college has a comparably low placement rate of 50%. Companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture come for placements. The package offered varies between 3-4LPA.

MITAOE lags behind the other colleges, while the other three colleges have similar advantages.
