Average package: While LNCT Bhopal may have good placements for CSE and IT branches, the average package is likely to be around 3.5 to 4 LPA. In contrast, at NIT Raipur, irrespective of your branch, the average package is around 6 to 7 LPA.

You cannot go wrong with NIT Raipur as it will offer you the highly coveted NIT tag. It also guarantees amazing placement opportunities. If you want to be in the IT sector then you can study the topics in CSE. You can learn coding by yourself.

The recruiting companies will not ask your branch but what knowledge you have extracted. The usual average package at LNCT Bhopal you will probably get around INR 3 to 4 LPA while in NIT Raipur, the average package is as high as INR 6 to 7 LPA.

You will get great exposure and opportunities at NIT Raipur in terms of academics as well as extracurricular activities. The level of competitiveness is also good than LNCT Bhopal.
