Did anyone change their IIM interview date? If yes, what reason did you give?
You can get the date of the IIM interview changed. You just need to mail the Admission Office of the University requesting the rescheduling by giving a genuine reason behind the same. You have to be honest and polite yet straightforward.
There are lots of people who request a change of interview date because of clashing schedules or another major exam on the same date. The reason must be valid otherwise your request will not be considered.

Yes, it is possible to change the date for IIM Interview. If your interview dates at different IIMs are clashing with each other, you can simply request any one of the institutes to change it.
One of my friends had an interview for IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Lucknow on the same date. She sent a mail to IIM Lucknow requesting them to change the interview date with a snapshot of IIM Ahmedabad date as proof and they agreed to do so.
A similar case was happening with IIM Kozhikode’s interview date when it clashed with her mid-semester examinations. Thus, she sent the mid-semester exam schedule attached and IIM Kozhikode agreed to change the date as well.
If you have any serious and genuine reason, you need to drop an email with proof of the reason and normally the institute agrees to accommodate your request.
