Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) is a public university located in Rohtak, Haryana, India. Established in 1976, it is one of the largest universities in India offering a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering program at MDU is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). This course provides the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in CSE covering core topics like programming, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, and software engineering.

The program is delivered by highly experienced professors. The crowd quality is great as the admission process is based on merit and entrance exams.

In simple words, one should consider pursuing a B.Tech in CSE from MDU because the university has a good reputation, faculty pool, and infrastructure.

B.Tech(ECE) from I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University

Both the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) and the I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) are public universities consisting of many private and public engineering colleges. If you are getting private colleges in both of the universities, then there is no point of comparison as both will be essentially the same.

For a good job after your studies, you need to concentrate on the training you will receive between your studies. Also, you will have to practice programming languages very thoroughly. If you can get a percentage of 70% - 75%, then getting a job won’t be a problem in either of the universities.

If you want to stay outside to become independent, then sure you can join any college which is a little farther from your home.
