One of my friends is a student of NIT Calicut and according to him, the CS department is the best in the institute. It is also among the top 3 CS branches in NITs.

The faculties for the CS branch are excellent. They have years of experience in the field.
NIT Calicut also has a good placement record for their CS branch. Here are the recent placement highlights for the institute.
