My JEE Mains score is 127. Can I get Computer Science at Thapar University at spot counseling?
You can get CSE at Thapar University if you are a resident of Panjab. The institute has a 50% seat reservation for the Panajb quota. For out-of-state students, Thapar University cutoff for CSE usually stays above 180. But, you can try for other branches.
Thapar offers a branch change option. If you maintain a good academic record in the first year, you can apply to change your branch.

If you're from Punjab, you have a good chance of getting into your desired branch because 50% of seats are reserved for Punjab students. With this rank, you can easily secure a seat at Thapar University.
If you are not from Punjab, then it is difficult for you to get into CSE. You will only be able to get Civil or Chemical Engineering. For general students outside of Punjab, the required score is 170 and above.
