To get admission to IIM Rohtak, you need to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. The CAT exam is held annually, usually in November or December. The CAT score is the primary factor considered for admission to all IIMs, including IIM Rohtak. However, the CAT percentile that you need to aim for IIM Rohtak admission may vary depending on the competition level and the number of available seats.

Here are some estimates of CAT percentile cutoffs for admission to IIM Rohtak in recent years:

  1. In 2021, the CAT cutoff percentile for the General category was 97.5.
  2. In 2020, the CAT cutoff percentile for the General category was 97.5.
  3. In 2019, the CAT cutoff percentile for the General category was 95.

It is important to note that the cutoffs can change from year to year depending on various factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and the number of available seats. Therefore, it is recommended to aim for a CAT percentile above 97.5 to increase your chances of getting admission to IIM Rohtak. However, achieving a higher percentile will give you a better chance of securing a seat in the institute.

The CAT percentile is generally around 96-99 percentile for getting admission at IIM Rohtak. Your performance in the WAT round and personal interview also matters.

  • For a General engineer, the percentile should be around 96-99 percentiles while for non-engineers the percentile should be around 96-97 percentiles.
  • For the General open category, the percentile is 96-99 percentile and you should score at least 80 percentile in Verbal Ability, DI and LR, and Quantitative Ability each.
  • The weightage for CAT score is 40% while the weightage for WAT and PI is 30% and 30/% weightage is given to your overall profile. This includes your past academic backgrounds, 10th and 12th scores, Academic diversity factor, Gender diversity factor, Work experience, etc.

The CAT cutoff for IIM Rohtak 2020 admissions are as follows:

Category VARC section DILR section Quant section Overall CAT percentile
General/EWS 70 70 70 95
NC-OBC 60 60 60 78
SC 50 50 50 60
ST 30 30 30 40
DAP 30 30 30 40

Work experience of more than 2 years may help you clear the selection process. Also, if you have participated in extracurricular activities in college then that might help you a lot in clearing the overall admission process.
