Which IIM should I prefer, Ranchi/ Rohtak/ Raipur/ Udaipur? And why?

Out of the IIMs like IIM Rohtak, IIM Raipur, and IIM Udaipur, IIM Ranchi may be the best choice for several reasons. Firstly, despite being an IIM, IIM Ranchi is relatively new and is still working towards building a reputation for itself. On the other hand, IIM Ranchi is an established institution that has been around for longer and can be trusted for its campus, faculty, and placements.

Additionally, as a newer institute, IIM Ranchi may be more focused on making a mark and establishing itself as a top business school, which could potentially lead to a more dedicated and driven faculty and student body. Overall, while all the IIMs are highly regarded institutes, IIM Ranchi may offer a unique and potentially more rewarding experience due to its status as a newer institute.

Having a few friends from IIM Rohtak, I will talk about it, the IIM in the NCR.

Location: Being located in the NCR region, IIM Rohtak enjoys the advantage of being one of the leaders in industrial interactions.
Placements: The industrial value of the institute is reflected in the placement statistics as well. IIM Rohtak is one of the first IIMs to successfully wrap up its placements.
IIM Rohtak is one of the most entrepreneurial IIMs of all with its Bizdome Incubation Council, an independently registered company incubating successful start-ups.
Udaan, the Entrepreneurship Summit of IIM Rohtak, enjoys the patronage of successful innovators and entrepreneurs year after year.
Continuing with the tradition of foraying into uncharted territory, IIM Rohtak held its maiden Film Summit in 2016, the first-ever by a B-school, giving students gain exposure to the entertainment business.
The IIM Rohtak firmly believes in giving back to society. The Run for the Girl Child Marathon and the two wings of the institute’s Social Development Cell- Sparsh and Every Child in School are prime examples of the institute’s sensitivity to social welfare.
