As per the latest update available on the IIT Madras website, the fee structure for semester 1 students who qualify HSEE is as follows-

ST/SC/PwD students do not have to pay the tuition fee of Rs. 3000 per semester, irrespective of their parental income. The mess advance is Rs. 17,500 per semester.

The following fees must be paid at the time of admission for candidates admitted through HSEE-2021:

It should be noted that the fee structure varies from time to time. The tuition fees of Rs. 3,000/- per semester are waived for SC/ST and PwD students, regardless of parental income.

The fee includes a six-month mess advance of Rs. 19,365. At the time of admission, the cost structure for subsequent semesters will be made available. The hostel price is the same for all students living on campus. Some of the charges is waived for scholarship recipients.
