Whether you will get a call or not depends on a lot of factors. For general category students, IIM Bangalore cutoff stays around the 99 percentile. However, for interview shortlisting, IIM Bangalore considers a lot of factors - 10th, 12th, graduation scores, bachelor's field of studies, work experience, etc.

If you have a decent academic record and 2 years of work experience, you can expect a call with 98 percentile.

According to my brother's experience, only getting 98 percentile in CAT is not sufficient to get admission to IIM Bangalore.

  • You should have scored a decent percentage in classes X, XII, and in your graduation.
  • Considering all the things the cut-off is prepared and the shortlisted students are then called for WAT and PI rounds.
  • Score well and manage to get the 98 percentile in CAT.
  • Have complete knowledge about the various crises happening in society regularly.

If your academic profile consists of all these above-mentioned things then there are high chances for you to get a call from IIM Bangalore.
