Studied EE at IIT Madras (2019)

I have a few friends at IIT Madras and according to them, most of the amenities are already in provision by IIT Madras. But, other than that, the basic hostel needs are as follows.

Mattress for Bed Frame
Bajaj Iron Box
Bed Spread
Scientific Calculator
Buckets, Brooms, and several basic necessities
Hanger, doormat, laundry bags, lock with keys (both 5 levers and 6 levers)
Long notebooks
Pillow
Toiletries, Clothes, Sandals, shoes and other personal items
Laptop

These are a few basic necessities you need to get your hands on before arriving at the hostel of IIT Madras. Hope this helps.
