SRM offers a good Aerospace Engineering program. The department has fully functional labs for Aerospace Structures, Aerodynamics, Material Testing, and Fluid Dynamics. The department also has basic and advanced computational laboratories. The institute has a fully equipped Aerospace Hangar.

SRM has excellent faculties for Aerospace. The faculty members are alumni of Dublin City University,  IITM, IITK, etc. The department has an active research culture on Aerodynamics. Alumni of the department got accepted for higher studies in reputed institutes including IITs, Imperial, TU Munich, Georgia Tech, etc.

Many of my friends and seniors suggested, IIST is the best choice for Aerospace Engineering in India as it provides a direct entrance into ISRO at the same time it is a central government-funded institution. But, in terms of college life, festivals, entertainment, and city life, IIST is not that great as compared to other referenced colleges.

MIT is a state government-funded institution that will provide education at almost negligible tuition fees. You can learn a lot of things in a multicultural and enthralling environment like at MIT. It develops a platform for you to get into IITs, IISCs, and top US universities for higher studies. But Manipal Institute of Technology doesn't provide Aerospace engineering. The course is Aeronautical engineering which isn't exactly aerospace.
