Amity University offers various UG, PG, and Doctorate level courses in different fields such as Psychology, Anthropology, Animation, Biotechnology, etc. Direct Admission is offered to those who score 80%+ in class 12 from a recognized board. These students are exempted from the selection process. Selection is done solely on the basis of the Amity Application form. Anyone can become part of the recruitment process, and there is no interview process for Direct Admission. To avail of this

  • Your minimum required percentage for direct admission should be 80%.
  • Fill out the Amity form, submit the application form fee for the course for which you are applying, and upload your 12th mark sheet.

Once done, wait for 2 or 3 days and then Amity University will let you know the results.

You need to fill out the Amity application form and submit the application form fee, to apply for direct admission. The eligibility criteria for each course are different, but usually, the required percentile stays around 60% for most bachelor-level courses. If your percentile is in the range of 50% - 60%, you need to fill out the form for sponsored category. Next, you will need to upload your documents. You will get your admission confirmation, after a few days.

One of my friends studied at Amity and I got to know about the admission process from him. Let me share it with you, which will give you a better idea about it. Except for the campus of Amity University, Jaipur, there is a direct admission process that is followed by all other campuses.

  • The students who secure above 80% aggregate in 12th are given direct admission in the Institute.
  • The percentage will be the aggregate calculated according to the marks scored by the student in the subjects such as the main subjects.
  • This includes the eligibility subjects according to the preferred course or branch the student has to pursue.
  • English as a compulsory subject for all the courses.
  • This did not include the extra or optional/vocation subjects such as Physical Education, Performing Arts, or Fine Arts.
  • The admission is given based on the Amity University Application Form.

For a course like MBA, The eligibility criterion is:

  • The student should score at least 70 percentile in the entrance exam such as CAT/MAT for the Amity University Campuses like Lucknow, Raipur, Gwalior, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Gurugram.
  • Only a round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are kept for the eligible students.

The entrance exam criterion is not for the students who have been given admission based on their aggregate, such as falling under the category of Direct Admission.
