Which college is better for Event Management Diploma, NIEM Mumbai or NIEM Pune?
It completely depends on what kind of events you like to conduct in the future. When it comes to the NIEM Pune, the focus is more on corporate events and this, in turn, would give you more corporate and/or wedding planning experiences in practicality.
Whereas, as far as NIEM Mumbai is concerned, it focuses much more on the show business and exhibition aspects of event management. In the end, it entirely depends on what sort of events interest you more.

Which institute is better to join, NIEM or NAEMD?
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)sent directions for NIEM to shut down three of the courses that it offered in the Mumbai and Pune branches for not having the approval of AICTE and DTE.
- NIEM has closed 3 courses including MBA, PG Diploma, and UG Diploma as they do not have any approval by government authorities.
- The organizations charged a penalty of INR 1 Lakhs from the college for not following rules and regulations and for misleading students.
- Similar incidents had been recorded with NAEMD and NAEMD is also considered to be a bogus institution by many students.
- Many students have reported not getting a degree or certificate after passing all the examinations successfully.
- This can prove to be harmful to your career in case you take admission into the college.
It is advised for you to not consider both of these colleges for admission. Both colleges do not take responsibility for their unprofessional actions and this is why it is suggested to not choose any of them.
I want to do a PG in event management from NIEM, (Mumbai). How is it?
NIEM Mumbai is a great institute for Event Management. The faculties at the institute are great and they offer good practical training. One of my friends attended the institute and vouched for their PG Event Management course.
With theoretical learning, make sure to participate in freelancing activities that will come your way. These activities can be very beneficial. The more you participate in the events the more contacts you have the chance of getting in touch with. Practical knowledge is more efficient it will go a long way in the improvement of your skills.
Participating in these events is also instrumental in bagging a job and kick-starting your own company.
Which is better for a BBA in event management, NIEM Pune or NAEMD Mumbai?
It is suggested that you fact-check whether these institutes offer BBA courses in Events or offer a diploma in events because as per online reports, both of these institutions do not offer BBA courses as it is a degree course and an Institute cannot offer degrees to its students.
- Both of these Institutes are quite good, the difference is what needs to be considered before making a decision.
- If you want to learn things on a more theoretical basis for your education then you should choose NIEM Pune as they offer a better faculty for teaching purposes for On-campus teaching.

Which is better for PG studies in Event Management, NIEM or NAEMD?
Among the above two institutes, NAEMD is a better choice for an Event Management course. Here are some facts about NAEMD and NIEM that you should know.

I have a few friends at NIEM Mumbai. Based on what I heard through then I can give you a brief idea about the institute. If you are passionate about event management, then you can definitely consider joining NIEM in Mumbai. The center offers three courses, which are as follows.
- Diploma in Event (DE)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Event (PGDE)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Advertisement, Media and Event (PGDAME)
You should check out the fee structure, training, placement facilities, and the value of the degree but most importantly the feedback of the current as well as previous students before taking a call.
