Out of these two, Dayanand Sagar is definitely a better choice because it is an autonomous institute. However, you will encounter multiple distractions on the campus and it is advisable to be cognizant and not to neglect studies.
Dayanand Sagar has a good reputation in terms of co-curricular activities. One of my friends, who got RNSIT in the first round, waited and later opted for DSCE in 2nd round.
Trust me it was one of the life-changing decisions in his life. Rest is up to you, do whatever you feel like.
Both RNSIT and Bangalore institute of technology are good options for pursuing CSE which makes it difficult to choose which institute is better. Given below is a brief discussion that will give you an inside into the CSE programs offered by these two institutes.

First, you should stop considering A.M.C Engineering College, if you are going to compare it with institutes like RNSIT or CMRIT. Among the above three institutes, RNSIT would be the best option for Information Science and Engineering.

Placement (Winning Institute- RNSIT):
Key highlights - RNSIT:
So, it is evident that RNSIT is the most preferred institute for ISE among the three.
Both Bangalore Institute of Technology and Dayanand Sagar College are great colleges and much better than BMSIT and RNSIT. However, they are comparable based on 2 aspects, placements, and college life.
While some may say that college life is a subjective matter and varies from person to person, I think the campus itself plays a major role.
Among the given options, SIT Tumkur is definitely a better option. It offers better placement and exposure as compared to RNSIT and KLE.
KLE isn't ideal when it comes to its location, therefore, I would advise you to not choose it. Since it is located far away from the main city within Bangalore, it gets pretty inconvenient for the companies to show up for placements. This gravely affects the placement scenario. You would as well be devoid of opportunities like off-campus placements, startups, or even as mentioned, transportation.
If you are a North Indian, never choose a college that is located at a far-away destination from Bangalore because of how inconvenient things would get because of the transportation factor.
However, if we talk about SIT Tumkur, the location of that institute is ideal since Bangalore is not that far from it. It is around 80 km away, which boosts the placement stats along with the ranking of that particular institute.
RNSIT is in Bangalore but it is not as good as SIT Tumkur.
First of all, congratulations on getting selected for RNSIT and NMIT. You are lucky to have more than one option to choose from. Coming to the question, since you are only concerned about placements, a comparative analysis of the figures will help you decide better.

From the above table, it can be inferred that RNST has a better placement scenario and the fact that you are getting CSE, one of the most coveted branches of Engineering in itself is a big achievement.

I asked a friend in RNSIT about the placement review and he told me that companies started visiting from the 6th semester and more than 1000 were made. The highest package offered was INR 56 LPA and the average package is around INR 6 LPA. Another friend at NMIT ECE told me that around 150 companies came for campus placements and the highest package recorded was INR 50 LPA while the average package recorded was INR 4 LPA.
In simple words, if you are after placements go for RNSIT CSE without any second thoughts.
My sister chose RNSIT for her B.Tech degree. According to her, there are several factors one needs to consider while choosing one’s college.
One of them is the distance of the college from one’s home (or place of stay). Choosing a college near one’s place of stay buys a lot of time which one can then use to pursue one’s studies/interests. Moreover, one feels much more relaxed because the travel time is reduced to such a great extent.
Barring Civil and Mechanical, all the other departments witness good placements at RNSIT. The faculties of RNSIT are supportive as well.
Thus, you can consider choosing RNSIT over MVJCE Bangalore, given that the option suits your personal preferences.
PES University will be better for a management course. BMS and RNSIT are engineering colleges known for their technical degrees. PES University MBA fees are high, around INR 10 LPA. But this huge investment pays off eventually.
PES University has academic partnerships with Harvard University, IBM, Earnest & Young, etc. So, you will get great exposure and opportunities. The average CTC for MBA at PES is INR 3-4.8 LPA. HP, ITC, KPMG, and E&Y are some of the major recruiters.
PES University is an autonomous university. The marking system of the college is good. IS branch in RSIT is good. The college offers 98% placement to its students. The college is affiliated with VDU.
The evaluation process of this university is not good. But the college will help you in gaining knowledge. PES university will be good for you if you want to take the mechanical branch. CS and IS students get good placements in the RNSIT college. The highest package has gone to INR 10 LPA in companies like Amazon. The students who do not get placements in the first round are recruited by companies like Accenture and TCS in their mass recruitment drives.
The placement statistics of RNSIT college is as follows:
Total offers received | 707 |
Overall placement percentage | 73% |
Total companies visited | 101 |
Top recruiters | Adobe, Infosys, Accenture, etc. |
Average CTC | INR 2.6 LPA-6.2 LPA. |
Highest CTC offered | INR 19 LPA. |
The academics, infrastructure, culture, and sports facilities are all good in the college. There is no ragging on the campus. The college seniors are very friendly and welcoming. Overall RNSIT is a good college.
