Which should I join, IIM Trichy/IIM Udaipur?

My cousin is a career counselor and she thinks both institutes are worth it. Let’s talk about specifics; IIM Trichy gives its students a way better exposure than IIM Udaipur. If there no such inclination from your end, then what institute you end up getting admission to does not make much of a difference because both are big names. But, if you have a preference, IIM Trichy can be a good place.

As per NIRF rankings, both IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur are consistently ranked featured among the top 15 B-schools in the country for a number of years. They achieved this feat despite being less than a decade old themselves.

However, IIM Udaipur is on the verge of getting bankrupt. It has taken a loan by using its land as security for giving salaries to the faculty. The institute has been taken from riches to rags by its current director.
