How much does McKinsey pay in B-schools like IIM, XLRI, etc.?
If you are applying to MBBs, you can expect entry-level salaries to be anywhere in the range of 24 to 26 lakhs per annum. You can also expect a 10-15% bonus. Moreover, there is also an 8-10% increase almost every year in the pay scale.
If you are looking at variable payouts, you can also expect these to change over time. The bonuses are quantified mostly as a percentage of the annual fixed salary. Mind you, the fixed salary varies by country so the bonus as a percentage of this will also be in a similar range.

If you are fresher, there will be a limit but you can expect an average salary of 6-8 LPA. The interview standards at McKinsey are very high. Being the best in the consultancy industry, there is no bar on salary if you are the right candidate.
