The preference for B-schools is usually based on your score and your interests. As per my interaction with alumni of the mentioned institutes, the following are the preference order:

Welingkar Mumbai> IBS Hyderabad> IMT Nagpur> BIMTECH> XIME Bangalore

If we talk about the real facts then all these institutes are average. Only their brand names are flashy and you might not get favorable profiles or salary packages. Each of these universities has its own set of patented HR on campus. You will hear about foreign placement or a 20 LPA package but these are rare and purely depend on your merit.

If you believe, your next CAT attempt will yield a score of 95th percentile or higher. Please don't go for these colleges and reattempt CAT. However, if you are not confident, you can try your luck with either of these, with salaries ranging from 5 to 10 lakhs.
