Which is better, ECE at NIT Agartala or CSE at IIIT Guwahati?
NIT Agartala ECE will be a better option. It is older and offers better facilities. The ECE department has an excellent faculty pool. The recent highlight of NIT Agartala placement shows ECE has a placement rate of around 100%. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 8 LPA. The highest CTC offered goes up to INR 15 LPA. Adobe, Nokia, Byju’s, Tata, etc. are among the major recruiters that visit the placement drive.

Between ECE at NIT Agartala and CSE at IIIT Guwahati, CSE at IIIT Guwahati would be a better choice.
Even though NIT Agartala is an NIT and will give you an NIT tag, IIIT Guwahati will give you better exposure when it comes to coding. Also, IIIT Guwahati has rapidly grown in the past years and it is the highest-ranked IIIT by NIRF rankings 2020.
