NIT Surathkal offers a good MCA course with decent placements. Companies, including Citicorps, Oracle, Microsoft, TCS, Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Morgan, IBM, mainly come to hire MCA students at NITK.

In recent years the placement statistics are as follows.

Placement average	75%
Highest CTC	18 LPA
Lowest CTC	3.5 LPA
Average CTC	7-8 LPA
Major job roles offered	Software Developer, Associate Softengineer, Analyst, and many more.
Internship Offer Percentage	70%
Highest Internship Stipend	40,000

The thing is that this institute is somewhat more popular for BTech studies. However, it is slowly developing other programs like diploma and graduate degrees.
