Should I join IIM Udaipur?

Despite being a new IIM, the institute has a good academic and placement record. Here are the reasons why you should consider IIM Udaipur, for your MBA. 

• It has AACSB accreditation. IIM Udaipur is the youngest B-school to get this accreditation in India.
• Among the new IIMs, it has one of the best student exchange programs. Their International Business Program is also reputed among students.
• IIM Udaipur’s placement records are IPRS audited. So, the placement figures aren’t inflated. During IIM Udaipur placements 2022, the average CTC offered was INR 19.54 LPA. 

Surrounded by Aravali hills, the IIM Udaipur campus is picturesque. 

One of my friends was in a similar dilemma a few years back. After his graduation, he took some time off and worked. When he decided to go for MBA, he was looking for an academically driven program. After attending a lot of ‘City Meets’ organized by B-Schools, he decided to choose IIM Udaipur. Discussed below are the reasons why.

Academics: 

From one of the City Meets he got to know about the director of IIM Udaipur and his determination to not compromising when it comes to academics. Which is one of the deciding factors for my friend. 

Campus life:

• Udaipur campus is surrounded by valleys and mountains. It makes the whole atmosphere surreal. 
• Udaipur is a tourist city and there a lot of places to visit. IIM Udaipur also has a student committee that organizes short trips and camps.

Placement Committee:

IIM Udaipur works towards providing good placement to the students. The placement office and senior placement committee work around the clock from the beginning of the course to ensure good summer internship opportunities.

All in all, IIM Udaipur offers a lot of opportunities to its students. You will not get such opportunities anywhere else. If you feel management is your call then IIM Udaipur will not disappoint.
