PES University is one of the oldest, and reputed engineering colleges in India. As per the recent records by OUTLOOK India-ICARE Rankings, PES stands at 6th position. PES offers more than 25 specialized courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. It has a good international academic partnership with Aberdeen University and the Taylors University Of Malaysia. PES has maintained a decent placement record over the years.

In the recent placement process, more than 50 companies visited the college and 851 job offers were made.

Aerospace companies are in demand for every student who opts for core branches like mechanical and civil in their career.
The University’s training and placement cell categorize the companies as Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 keeping in view the annual package offered by them, i.e. Tier 1: more than 8 LPA, Tier 2: 4 to 8 LPA, and Tier 3: less than 4 LPA.
The highest package was offered by Atlassian that is 48 LPA and the median salary was INR 7 LPA.
Major recruiting companies are from software, civil, architecture, aerospace. Top recruiting companies include Ashok Leyland, Wipro, Infosys, Cisco, Bosch, HCL.
The university has a strong alumni network that helps students to get placed in various companies, both national and international.

The university provides pre-placement training to its students before they appear for the campus interview. To have a real-life experience, students are taken for an industrial visit in their final year. Students are eligible for the placement process if they have 60% aggregate from 10th to BTech grade.
PES has the best placement percentage across all branches. If we talk about aerospace companies that select students from core branches, do visit the university. It solely depends on the student to work hard and get a dream company of their choice.
