How is the education environment and hostel life in IIT Bhubaneswar?

The education environment in IIT Bhubaneswar is excellent. In 2019, it recorded 90% placement where 89 companies visited the campus. Most professors in this IIT are from IIT Kharagpur. IIT Bhubaneswar also has student exchange programs with foreign universities like the University of New York, the University of Massachusetts, etc.

The hostel life in IIT Bhubaneswar is fully well secured and monitored by the warden, assistant warden, and professor in charge. The hostel and institute are ragging free and consumption of alcohol, drugs, and smoking is strictly prohibited. There are four hostels, Mahanadi Hall of Residence and Brahmaputra hall of residence are for the boys whereas Subarnarekha Hall of Residence and Ganga hall of residence for the girls. The hostels are equipped with all the basic amenities. The average fees for both the boys and girls’ hostels are the same and in the range of 19300 to 51600.
