IIT Madras offers an undergraduate online certificate course for candidates who have passed their class 12. This is a Bachelor of Science in Programming and Data Science. This undergraduate online course is a three-year course which is divided into six semesters.

It also offers diploma-level online courses with certification. The diploma-level online certification courses are available to anyone who has completed any bachelor’s degree or has studied at least two years of any bachelor’s degree through any mode.

Here are the duration and eligibility criteria for UG and Diploma-level online courses at IIT Madras:

Courses	Duration	Eligibility
Online B.Sc in Programming and Data Science	3 years	(10+2) qualification with minimum passing percentage, with Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects.
Online Diploma in Programming	8 months	At least two years of any UG education.
Online Diploma in Data Science	8 months	At least two years of any UG education.
