For pursuing MBA, your major during graduation does not matter. You will need to secure a 50% score in your graduation to be eligible for admission in MBA. However, you will have to give either CAT or MAT examination and your score in these exams will determine whether you will be eligible for taking admission or not. The cut-off marks are decided every year and students secure admission in MBA on the basis of their performance in either of these two examinations. So, yes you will have to give either CAT or MAT. Christ University also considered work experience so try to do an internship during your graduation which will be an added point in your resume.
