Among IIT Bhilai, Goa, Jammu and Dharwad, IIT Dharwad is the best option. In 2023, Dharwad was ranked 93rd in the NIRF Engineering Category. Multiple courses are offered by IIT Dharwad. The range of courses includes B.Tech/B.E, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Tech/M.E., MS and Ph.D. The course fees at IIT Dharwad lie between INR 10,000 to INR 10,00,000. This institute also has good placement opportunities. In 2024, the highest package is around INR 52 LPA. Every year top corporate companies visit the college to recruit the students. These companies include Cred, IBM, Paytm, Jio, Makemytrip, etc.

These new IITs can be compared on the basis of several factors. Some of them are-
- Mentoring Institutes- IIT Goa and IIT Dharwad are mentored by IIT Bombay, IIT Bhilai by IIT Hyderabad and IIT Jammu by IIT Delhi.
- Location and Campus- Goa houses IIT Goa, NIT Goa and BITS Goa. This allows easy access from one college to another. IIT Dharwad, Bhilai and Jammu have shifted to their permanent campuses.
- Faculty- All of them receive the faculties of their respective mentor IITs, and their curriculum is in line with their mentor college. So, for example, CS at IIT Dharwad is similar (in terms of faculty and curriculum) to CS at IIT Bombay.
Ultimately, while choosing among these colleges you must give utmost importance to branch. All of them are very new, and it will take some time to find out which of them makes the greatest progress over the years.
