• IIT Bombay has a better climate compared to IIT Delhi.
• IIT Bombay has a financial capital advantage, which provides better opportunities in non-core sectors.
• IIT Bombay has a few BS programs, such as BS Economics/Mathematics/Chemistry, which are not available at IIT Delhi.
• IIT Delhi has redundant BTech programs, such as BTech Textile and BTech BioTech, which lead to non-core jobs and corporate life.

Although interdisciplinary research might be slightly more in IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay is growing at a tremendous rate and beating IIT Delhi and IISc in the QS rankings. With proper funding and organization, both institutes have the potential to rub shoulders with the best in the world.
