Listed below are the areas that the institute will test before finalising the admission:
Performance -The candidate will be required to choose any song of their choice of the level that describes their best performing ability. He/she will then be assessed based on accuracy, technique and stylistic elements. This contains 50 marks.
Improvisation- The candidate will be asked to do a simple improvisation of a pop song / ballad progression. They will then be required to perform on it. Scatting for vocalist - 25
Aural: In this round, a basic interval and triad recognition will take place. The candidate will be required to identify the changes in rhythm, melody or pitch. This round is for 25 marks.
Personal Interview- The final round wherein questions will be asked to test the candidate's aptitude. This will be a non-technical round for 50 marks.
