Yes, DU will take admission to their undergraduate programs through CUET this year. Here are some highlights about the format and structure of the CUET paper.

Sections Section 1 - language specific, have two parts 1A, 1B Section 2 - Domain specific (have 27 domain subjects or papers Section 3 - General Knowledge test (as per program requirement)

Section 1 - 

CUET section 1A includes - English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Gujarathi, Panjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Assamese, Odia. A DU applicant needs to a test in at least one of these languages. 

Applicants need to attempt a language test from CUET 1B, only if they wish to pursue an undergraduate degree in one of these 19 languages - French, Italian, Nepali, Arabic, German, Spanish, Persian, Sindhi, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Tibetan, Kashmiri, Konkani, Dogri, Bodo, Maithili, Manipuri, and Santhali. 

Section 2 - 

DU divided the section 2 papers into two sections B1 and B2. B2 includes 18 subjects that are already offered in DU. B2 includes 19 new subjects. 

For most undergraduate degrees in DU, applicants need to appear for three domain subjects from section 2, according to the programme's requirements. 

Section 3 - 

Questions in this section will be based on general knowledge, current affairs, quantitative reasoning, applicational of basic mathematical concepts, etc. This section isn’t compulsory. Applicants only need to accept this section only if it is required for the programme they are applying for. 

DU will continue to select students based on their best performance. Applicants have the freedom to take Six domain papers in CUET, provided they have studied those subjects in 10+2. For admission, DU will consider the language test score and the three domain subjects with the highest mark scored by the applicant.
