What is the value of an RGPV (MP) B.E. degree outside Madhya Pradesh?

The valuation of a BE degree from RGPV is similar to any other technical university degree in the country. Unless you have done your engineering degree from an IIT or NIT, your college name won’t matter much in recruitment. Your placement will depend on your skills and knowledge, rather than your college. 

RGPV Bhopal placement is decent During the 2021 placement drive, students received an average CTC of INR 3.50 LPA. Many students of the college prepare for competitive examinations as well. 

I have a few friends who completed their B.E from RGPV, Bhopal. According to them, there is no such difference between the value of the degrees offered by RGPV or other universities. RGPV is approved by UGC and it is a state technical university of MP. 

If you want to appear in competitive examinations, you will find that this degree is valid nationwide. However, you may face some problems if you want to join any IT firm. Most companies don’t specify any college as eligibility criteria. 

However, few MNCs like Accenture recruit through Elitmus which fixes criteria that students need to be from some specific college. Other than that you won’t face any problems with your BE degree from RGPV.
