IGNOU is a renowned name in distance education. The courses offered by the university are accredited by DEB, UGC, and AIU. You won’t need to worry about the recognition of your degree. IGNOU courses are recognized all over the country.

IGNOU reading materials are better compared to any other distance education organizations in the country.

These are a few of the reasons why you should choose IGNOU over Kuvemou University.

For any distance education course, the university must be accredited by the Distance Education Board, often abbreviated to DEB, alongside both UGC and AIU as well.

  • Now, if considering everything, IGNOU has been accredited by each of the fellow bodies.
  • IGNOU has naturally earned its reputation in the industrial sector being amongst the top-rated educational institutes, completely based upon distance academic programs.
  • The fee structure is quite nominal as well.

Here is the brief placement record of IGNOU, as opposed to Kuvempu University, based on the current trends,

Institutes IGNOU Kuvempu University
Highest Salary Package INR 3 LPA INR 3.96 LPA
Lowest Salary Package INR 1.5 LPA INR 1.5 LPA
Placement Percentage 60% 15% to 20%
Top Recruiting Companies Wipro, Genpact, Tata, EY, HCL, TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc. HCL, Wipro, IBM, Thomson Digital, TISCO, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc.

Kuvempu University is not a bad choice. However, when trying to opt between the two, in light of their prospects, then IGNOU is more renowned, with the inclusion of several top-rated reading materials provided in hand.

Unlike many other distance education institutes, IGNOU is best known for the study materials it provides to its students.
