How would you review ABV-IIITM, Gwalior?

IIITM Gwalior is a reputed technological institute with decent placement record. The placements are especially good for CS/IT branches. Students from non-IT branches also get placements in IT companies. IIITM Gwalior placements concluded with an average CTC of INR 16.85 LPA. Google, Dell, Mathworks, Samsung, and Amazon were the major recruiting participants in the placement drive. 

Academics are pretty good at the institute. It has an excellent faculty pool. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. IIITM G has an active coding culture on campus. Seniors teach the nitty-gritty of coding through the coding club - AASF club.  There are regular program contests and quizzes. 

ABV-IIITM Gwalior ranked 76th for MBA and 100th for BTech by NIRF ranking 2020. The university offers full-time courses like BTech, MTech, MBA, and integrated courses like BTech+MTech, BTech+MBA. 

The institute has a faculty strength of 38 members and provides 90% placement opportunities for its students. 

Placements:

A total of 102 students were offered full-time placements, and 139 students were provided internship opportunities. There were almost 70 students who were provided packages above INR 10 LPA. 

The top recruiters are Microsoft, Make My Trip, Amazon, EY, Google, Goldman Sachs, Reliance Jio, Tata Steel, etc. 

Companies like Dell, Mathworks, Mech Mocha, etc. provided internship opportunities to its students.

Admission Requirements:-

• The basic eligibility for admissions to UG courses is a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in 10+2. 
• The candidates are also selected based on performance in JoSAA or JEE Mains.
• The minimum eligibility criteria for admissions to PG courses such as MTech and MBA is 50% aggregate marks. 
• The candidates also get selected based on the scores in entrance exams like CAT and GATE. 

Infrastructure:-

• The lecture theatres and seminar halls are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with PCs with stable internet connectivity. 
• The institute library has a rich collection of 15000 references and textbooks on a wide range of topics. 
• The institute has more than 400 Pentium based computer systems from different manufacturers like Compaq, HP, HCL, etc. 
• The institute has three boys hostels with 313, 311, and 256 students, respectively. It also has a girl’s hostel having a capacity of 135 students. 

ABV-IIITM Gwalior is the right college if one has a rank of 10-25k in JEE Main. The placements are also decent, providing jobs in top MNCs. The institute has one of the best infrastructures and allows everything to its students like a sports complex or an open-air theatre. The faculties are also excellent and helpful, and the college library is rich in technical and non-technical books.
