Which one should I take: Thapar University ECE or NIT Srinagar/Hamirpur/Northeastern NITS civil/chemical or BITS Goa/Hyderabad dual degree?

Having known some people studying in these colleges, I can say that all these three colleges are reputed institutes to pursue engineering courses. They have a very good academic environment and provide the necessary facilities. 

You mentioned three branches, ECE, Civil, and Chemical. That means you don't have a specific interest. So, in that case, you should choose BITS over the other two colleges and here are the reasons as to why.

• As you don't have any specific interests, It is suggested you go for BITS for a dual degree. You will get one more year to build your interest.
• All the NITs you have mentioned, that are Srinagar, Hamirpur, and the northeastern NITs have lower rankings than BITS. 
• The infrastructure and the facilities provided are much better at BITS. 
• Thapar University was also a very popular university but now it is gradually losing its name. 
• Among the private engineering institutes, BITS has always been the best. It has been the first choice of the students due to its placement records.

Hence, choosing BITS among all the other colleges will be the best option as it provides better facilities than the rest of the college and placement opportunities to the students.
