Even though you have scored 100 percentile but still you will not get a call from IIM A/B/C. IIMs take a composite score which involves your past academic records and work experience along with your CAT scores.

  • This past academic record includes your 10th class, 12th class, and graduation marks.
  • Even though a single sheet of paper cannot decide your future during 10th, 12th, or graduation, it will surely crush your dreams of IIMs as competition is fierce.
  • Even a single point can be a decider between a call and a no-call.
  • A lot of IIMs also emphasizes work experience. IIM Bangalore is known for its high weightage to work experience.
  • If you are a person with no experience or a fresher then also it will become difficult for you.
  • Now IIMs abide by the reservation policies of the central government.

To promote diversity at their campus they have further tweaked the admission criteria which makes a certain group of people at a disadvantage already. These are GEM – General, Engineer, and Male. If you belong to this category and have low academics or no experience then even if you have 100 percentile, you may not get a call from the IIM A/B/C.
