JoSAA website has a list of documents that must be submitted for physical reporting at a Reporting Centre. Although a list of required documents can be obtained on the website, it is also included below.

All documents must be original, with a set of self-attested photocopies required for submission to the RC. The following is the sequence in which the documents should be placed:

  • Three passports sized pictures that are identical to the ones submitted during JEE Main 2021 registration.
  • Examining the performance of students in class XII.
  • Letter of provisional seat allotment.
  • Proof of payment of the seat allotment fee.
  • Photo identification card (issued by a government agency / last school attended / Class XII admit card)
  • JEE Main 2021 Admit Card and Scorecard
  • Class X marksheet as Date of birth proof
  • Board marks sheet for Class XII (or similar).
  • Medical certificate (format outlined in JoSAA Business Rules Annexure 8)
  • If applicable, a certificate of the category (OBC-NCL / SC / ST).
  • If applicable, a certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). If the disability is less than 40%, the certificate will be refused.
  • If applicable, an OCI certificate or a PIO card
  • Seat allocation is based on registration-cum-locked choices.

Both original and xeroxed papers must be organized in the above order.
