Is it possible to migrate from IT MSIT to IT MAIT?
No, it is not possible to migrate IT MSIT to IT MAIT. Once the counseling is over, you won’t have the option to change your college. But internal migration within branches is possible. Branch change depends on the GPA of your first year. For branches like CS, the required GPA is higher than in other branches.
You need to apply for a lateral entry program, in order to change college.

IPU does not permit inter-college migration after the counseling rounds are completed. But if you are looking for a branch change in the same college, then you are required to have high marks in the 1st-semester exam. The competition for branch change is high since most students try to change their branch to CS.
Both MAIT IT and MSIT IT are quite familiar in terms of placements. MSIT has a well-structured infrastructure as well. Although, when aiming for a longer run, then these aspects might not greatly influence your career. You can aim from whichever position you are in at present. You can become a great coder from any institute if you have a passion for it.
