M.A in International Relations is offered by the Department of International Relations of the South Asian University which is considered one of the best universities in the South Asian region for humanitarian study.

The question paper is of total 100 marks which are divided into three parts. The details of the same are listed below.

  • Part A – This section contains 20 multiple choice questions (1 mark for each) for a total of 20 marks. It also has a negative marking (1/4th deduction of the assigned mark).
  • Part B – This section is also comprised of 20 questions of 1 mark each for a total of 20 marks. The same negative marking scheme as that of Part A applies here.
  • Part C – This section has 60 marks. Here you need to answer 3 questions from a total of 6 questions given. This section does not have any negative marking.

The entrance exam will test your awareness about the history of the South Asian region along with the various cultures, political systems, and other such things. It is advisable to read books such as India After Gandhi by Ramachandra Guha and be thoroughly updated with the recent news through the daily The Hindu.
