Which college is the better for engineering, Medi-Caps Indore or LNCT Bhopal?

SR
Shivani Rai Posted On : October 1st, 2021
B.E. Civil Engineering,Lakshmi Narain College of Technology,Bhopal (2019)

LNCT Bhopal is ranked among the top 10 engineering colleges in MP. There is a reason for it being ranked high. The placement drive is very good at LNCT in the IT and CS department. The infrastructure is well maintained too. Your efforts can help you to bag the premium package companies. In the other departments, you might not get such good placements but you are assured of it in IT and CS. In 2020, the highest CTC offered in the campus placement was 27 LPA by Microsoft.

Medi-Caps Indore is good too since it summons companies like HDFC Bank, Jio and it is all on you, your caliber, to crack those jobs and get a handsome salary.

Overall, LNCT will be a better choice since it is among the top institutes in MP and it also has a great placement record.

The main campus of LNCT in Bhopal would be the best option. However, if you want to join the LNCT campus that is not the main one, then AITR Indore is a good options.

In the placement drive held in LNCY Bhopal in 2021, the highest package was offered by Microsoft and it was an offer of INR 44 LPA. The top recruiters of the students are Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, etc and they offer packages ranging from INR 3 to 8 LPA.

In the case of AITR Indore, the company that recruited the maximum number of students is TCS, followed by Blazeclan Technology and Capgemini. The highest package offered is INR 8 LPA and the average package is INR 3.8 LPA.

Which is better LNCT Bhopal Acropolis Indore or IPS Indore for the IT/CS branch?

AJ
Anshuka Jain Posted On : September 17th, 2021
B.Tech from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology ,Bhopal (2020)

Having to know some people studying in these colleges and after reading some reviews online, I can say that market calculations for placements might have changed. But I could assure you that any of them would give solid infrastructure, reasonable learning experience, and plenty of opportunity for placement.

Herewith I'm briefly differentiating all the colleges you mentioned :

Parameters LNCT Bhopal Acropolis Indore IPS Indore
Tuition Fees 4.7 lakh 3.18 lakh 4.04 lakh
Placement Percentage 83% 80% 70-75%
Highest Package 8-10 LPA 7-8 LPA 9 PA
Average Package  INR 3.3 LPA INR 4.5 LPA INR 3.5-4 LPA

Choose one that meets your needs, taking into account other aspects such as costs, distance, etc. But it is better to take LNCT as your first preference at private school and to obtain entry in IT or CS out of the 1994 seats available.

One of my friends studied at LNCT Bhopal. According to him, Bhopal is a beautiful city and a great place for you to be exploring on the weekends. There are so many options based on what you wish to do.

If you love to explore the natural beauty, you can visit some beautiful spots like the following: Van Vihar National Park, Upper Lake, Lakeview Point, Kolar Dam, and Kaliasot Dam.

You could also get your friends and collectively book adventure camps on the outskirts of the city. If you are a foodie there are so many eateries and cafes located in the city just waiting to be explored. Some of them are Bapu ki Kutia, Shahi haveli, Ranjit Lakeview, Olives and Honey, Café 9, Sukoon, Cad M Cad B, and Vintage Indian Coffee House.

If you are some who likes to explore the history or a city, there are so many spots for that too, like:

  • Gohar Mahal
  • Bhopal Ropeway Tekri
  • Bharat Bhavan Museum
  • Bhojpur Temple
  • Bhimbetka Caves
  • Taj-Ul-Masjid
  • Sanchi Stupa
  • Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum
  • Yodhasthal Museum

If you are someone who enjoys spending some time just hanging out with friends, DB Malls can also be one of your favorite spots. There are also many resorts and water parks you can visit on your day off.

Shakti Mandal Posted On : September 9th, 2021
B.Tech from Sharda University

LNCT is one of Madhya Pradesh's best private institutes. I have a few friends from the institute and according to them, the CSE course offered is great.

The well-trained faculty members strive to provide students with a high-quality education. The institute is synonymous with quality because of its world-class facilities, excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories and libraries, and student-friendly campus.

The training and placement cell works closely with students and the administration to assist them to seek jobs in the companies of their preference. WIPRO, Cognizant, Amdocs, Infosys, and many others are among the major league companies. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at LNCT Bhopal is around 3-8 LPA.

With good facilities and decent placement records, LNCT Bhopal is definitely a good choice for doing your CSE degree.

Which college is better in Bhopal, LNCT or UIT?

SS
Sakshi Sharma Posted On : September 21st, 2021
B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering,Lakshmi Narain College of Technology,Bhopal (2019)

LNCT Bhopal is far better than UIT Bhopal in terms of placement and academics, I say this based on the conversations I had with my friends from these institutes.

  • If you are getting UIT, you should join it because it is a government college and the fee structure is lower than LNCT. It will cost around INR 94,000 while a B.E degree from LNCT will cost around 2.64 lakhs.
  • UIT Bhopal is also good in terms of placement. The average CTC offered at the institute is 4-6 LPA. But if money is not an issue, go for LNCT.

Also, placement is not the only criterion for selecting a college as it is determined by your skills as well as your personality and attitude toward life. So, it doesn't matter which college you attend; what matters is how you utilize those four years to develop the required skill set for the profile.

How is the placement for IT in LNCT Bhopal? What is its highest package for IT?

AP
Arya Des Pandey Posted On : September 28th, 2021
Studies Information and Technology (IT) at LNCT Bhopal,2022

Since I am a part of LNCT Group of Technologies, Bhopal, the insights I provide can be helpful for a few.

  • The IT sector placements, by the organization, apparently offer a variety of opportunities.
  • A really good amount of recruiters visit the campus, especially from the IT sector, and hire a large number of candidates.
  • VMware, back in 2019, offered the highest salary package of almost around INR 18 LPA and hired 4 students side by side.
  • The best advice to secure a position at the top companies is to put as much effort as required into brushing your skills from the scratch.
  • It is better to stay updated with the latest technological trends of the industry and keep up with their demands, as and when required.
  • You should invest a reasonable amount of time into working upon aptitude, and logical reasoning, alongside keeping a good hold on your communication skills as well.

These are aspects that play a pivotal role in determining whether or not you are the best fit for a firm. It is suggested that you keep on polishing your skills more than wondering about aspects otherwise.

How can I score well at LNCT (main campus in Bhopal) in the mid-semester and semester exams (I'm in the 1st year.)?

DJ
Divya Joshi Posted On : November 10th, 2022
SW Engineer at Varian Medical System

You must have 75% attendance to be eligible for mid-sem. It is not required to have this much attendance, but 75% is a relevant number that will help you over the course of time (Semester Exams). The boundary criterion for shortlisting students to appear for mid sem is 50% attendance. You will be unable to appear for mid-sem if your age is less than 50.

Technical books are recommended for semester exams. The majority of the books are available in the college library, but they are out of date. Purchase new books for significant topics such as ED, mechanics, and M-1. Studying books aids in the development of concepts and numerical approaches. Never place your full confidence in Shivani that is a guide to passing the exam.
