• MAIT has excellent infrastructure with air-conditioned labs and classrooms. All the labs have up-to-date computers. 1. During PEC Chandigarh placements 2020, a total of 143 companies visited the campus to hire students.

Mechanical and automation engineering offered at MAIT is a 4-year undergraduate course dealing with theoretical aspects of conventional core mechanical engineering along with automation.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is ranked first among the private institutes of Uttarakhand.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology has been positioned under the rank band of 151-200 among 906 engineering institutions across the country which also includes all IITs/IIITs/NITs. It is also ranked 10th among Dataquest T school survey's best engineering colleges. The institute offers its students great placements.

Admissions:

• The minimum eligibility to apply for the UG level engineering programme in UPES is 10 + 2 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in PCM, subject to JEE Mains or UPESEAT qualification followed by Centralized Counseling.
