Studied at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune

I have given the preference order of the above-mentioned B Schools. However please remember this is based on my personal opinions and not any official figures

1st: NMIMS is one of the best schools in Mumbai with fewer fees and great specialization in Finance. Its distinguishing feature is its small batch size which is extremely beneficial for excellent placements. The companies that visit offer the best roles to their students mainly because of their credibility and strong alumni network.

2nd: SPJIMR too is located in Mumbai and is the second-best School after JBMINS. Its students intake is very good due to the strict selection process. The placements are at par with JBIMS but the fees are a bit higher. It's ranked in the top 3 in Operation and IT specialization in India.

3rd: One of the oldest institutes for MBA, IIFT is a good choice owing to its strong brand name and small batch size.

4th: SIBM Pune is a blend of everything; a Good campus, good corporate competition, hostel life, good infrastructure, faculty, and placement. It gives you an amazing MBA experience l.

5th: NMIMS Mumbai is great for MBA and is at par with SIBM. But I have ranked it the last owing to its high fees and larger batch size that requires a lot of competition during placements.

So the ranking is

NMIMS>SPJIMR>IIFT>SIBM Pune>NMIMS Mumbai

How is the MBA agribusiness in Utkal University?

AG
Anupama Gupta Posted On : November 2nd, 2021
studied at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar

In terms of academics, Utkal University will a decent option. The faculties at the university are well-experienced. Teaching methodology used at UU is better than other universities in Odisha. The environment at the university is great for academics. You will get to learn a lot from the faculties and it will expand your outlook.

However, the placement opportunities are limited at UU, since there are only a few companies at Orisha. But if you are serious about your studies and have the required skills, you can easily get jobs from off-campus placement.

PGDM from International Management Institute (Graduated 2022)

If you're looking for a B-school that offers a wide range of opportunities to help you pursue your interests and career goals, IMI New Delhi is definitely worth considering. Let's take a closer look at the different programs they offer and the opportunities they provide.

If you're interested in a managerial career but haven't decided on a specialization, the PGDM program at IMI New Delhi is a great option. By completing a full year of the course and studying all the subjects of management, you'll gain clarity about which domain you're most interested in. For example, when I first came to IMI, I was interested in Finance, but after just three months, I developed a keen interest in marketing.

If marketing is your specialization of choice, IMI Delhi offers an exciting course that includes projects, guest lectures by industry experts, highly experienced faculty, and workshops to enhance your marketing skills and creativity. You can also be a part of various clubs and committees that focus on designing, content writing, and sponsorship. Many premium recruiters in the FMCG sector, such as Asian Paints, Nestle, RPG group, Reckitt Benckiser, Emami, HUL, Havmor, Piramal Group, Mother Dairy, and others, visit the campus every year.

The finance program at IMI Delhi covers a wide range of subjects and offers lectures from renowned faculty members and numerous workshops to improve your knowledge. Companies like HSBC, Arcesium, and HUL visit the campus to hire students.

If you're interested in operations, IMI Delhi is known for having one of the best faculties in this field. The program covers subjects such as Financial Econometrics, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management. Many students opt for dual majors in finance and operations, and companies from various domains offer roles in operations.

If HR is your specialization of choice, IMI Delhi offers a specialized HRM program that includes subjects not only from the HR domain but also analytics and strategy. The program is tailored to meet industry requirements and allows students to opt for extra subjects beyond normal credit limits.
