Yes, it’s very much possible to attain more than 70% marks in DU SOL. My brother was lucky enough to score 71.1% in his second year of B.Com.(Hons). He mentioned a few simple strategies that helped him get good marks.

Is DU SOL or DU regular better for the UPSC?
DU regular colleges will be better for UPSC preparation. The syllabus for most courses matches with UPSC syllabus. If your aim is UPSC, choose your course accordingly. Opt for a subject, you are going to take as optional.
Being a regular student of DU, you will be able to attend seminars/discussions which can help a lot in personality development. Which is a major requirement for UPSE.
If you can manage regular classes along with UPSE preparation, choose DU regular.
What is the scope after business economics honors BBE in DU?
This course, like any other from DU, may disappoint you if you intend to get a job solely based on your graduation. Expect no placement offers based on the subjects or knowledge you gained in this course. Report on time for your priority category in the central conference hall near the Department of Botany on North Campus. This is why recruiters prefer B.Com Hons students over B.Com P students. If you are planning on pursuing CA or CS, then pursuing B.Com (H) will be better.
