Getting into BITS Goa has several different ways including by air, train, bus, and other options.

1. Via Air: You need to reach the nearby airport i.e. Dabolim airport. From there, you can book a cab for BITS Goa. Another option is to get on a local bus heading towards Birla/Madgaon/Titan. 
2. Via Train: For getting into BITS Goa via train, one needs to end up reaching the Vasco station. From the station, you can get a cab or a local bus for BITS Goa.
3. Via Bus: There are interstate buses available both government and private till the Panaji and Madgaon. After that, a person can book a cab, reach BITS Goa, and take the entry from the main gate.

The last but not the least option is to book a train to the Madgaon station and then follow the above-mentioned steps. Alternate for this can be a state bus heading towards Vasco, reaching BITS Goa, and taking the entry from the main gate.

BITS Pilani is nearly impossible to beat at any score lower than 305.

Unless you are in an "IIT," or unless you are only concerned with the college brand name, the subjects you will study in the future. To be honest, your skills and knowledge will get you everything, but stream allows you to become eligible to sit for the jobs you want. You should emphasize focusing on the stream rather than the college brand name because many colleges have eligibility criteria, i.e. CSE/IT students can apply but others cannot, and thus other students are not exposed to enough opportunities, as is the case at the college where I did my undergrad and many other colleges.

As some of my friends studied at BITS Goa, I might be able to share some facts about the particular course offered here.

• According to them, if you secure a comparatively low BITSAT score, you might not obtain a seat in any of the well known branches.
• This includes the 4 year B.E courses CS, ECE, EEE, ENI, Mechanical Engineering, and others.
• In any case whatsoever, you can likewise enroll in these few of the 5 year Dual Degree Courses - Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• The first 2 semesters, however, you will have to study alongside the 4th year BE students.
• Following that, on the basis of your over 1st and 2nd semester’s CGPA, you can go on to choosing your preferable engineering branch.
• It partly also depends upon your individual performance and branch availability.

After that, you gradually end up acquiring an M.Sc degree and a B.E degree. The aforementioned facts are true enough for every BITS campus, Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad.

The faculty members of the EEE department at BITS Goa are not good, except for a few of them. 

According to the professors, the only way to answer the questions is to attend their lectures and not understand the concepts. The average scores and grades are very low. The average of a class usually is C in a test or marks like 15 out of 75.

BITS has a higher brand value than any NIT in India. You can clear your concepts on your own. You can also learn from the knowledgeable professors of the EEE department.

If you maintain a CGPA of 8 or above, especially in the EEE department, you can easily get an internship with the help of a practice school program. These factors also help you if you opt to study further in any part of the world, or if you prefer to do a job.

However, placements at NIT Trichy are better. But, if you have the required skills, you will get good opportunities to land up in a good job position. The average CTC offered to the students is 5 LPA. 

You will easily get into a good institution for higher studies or any good company for a job, even if you do not pay much attention to the lectures at BITSG. All you need to do is, have some good internship experience, be on good terms with few faculties of the EEE department, and get required recommendation letters.

A friend of mine is studying at the BITS Goa campus. As per his experience, there is no ragging taking place at the BITS Goa campus.

There might be a fun introduction for the freshers, but it will not hurt anyone. As a fresher, my friend used to accompany his seniors to their rooms. Seniors are friendly in this institute. The only thing they might mind is freshers calling them sir, Bhaiya, and other names.

Ragging is an offense in BITS Goa like other colleges. The college adheres to all the Anti-Ragging laws by the government, UGC Regulations, an Anti-Ragging Committee, and Anti-Ragging Squads at the institute.

BITS Goa is much superior to SVNIT any day for placements. Although the package that you would get offered by recruiters depends upon your skills and several other important aspects such as your credentials, the marks obtained, and many more. Here is why you should choose BITS Goa over SVNIT.

• If you want to study at US University, after graduation, BITS Goa is a better option.
