What are the best things for Bangalore University students to do on weekends?
There are a lot of things that Bangalore University students can do on weekends.
- You can do certifications in your domain. For Commerce students, there are many certifications in accounts and finance which are recognized by Govt. like NISM, etc.
- Science students can learn coding in C, C++, Java, cloud computing, and other emerging software. These skills will be helpful during placements.
- You can learn new languages like French, German, Korean, etc. There is a foreign language division in central college BU.
- You can prepare for competitive examinations like CAT, GMAT, XAT, etc. If you are planning on going abroad for higher studies, weekends are the perfect time to prepare for IELTS, TOFEL, etc.
Other than studying you can explore the city. There are few historical places. You can attend events like theater, play, concert, etc at Chitrakala Parishad. You can go on long drives, check out some cafes. If you are interested you can also spend time getting associated with NGOs to help the needy ones.

The CSE department of Acharya Institute of Technology is quite good, considering the overall educational facilities, hostels, and environment. A friend of mine attended the institute. Here is his review regarding the facilities provided by the institute.
- Comparing with other departments, the CSE department is quite decent, with good laboratories, clean classrooms, and overall good infrastructure.
- The environment inside the campus of Acharya Institute of Technology is quite good for students to study peacefully. Candidates having doubts about the internal environment can clarify the same from internal faculties.
- There is an almost equal ratio of North Indians and South Indians inside the campus.
- The hostels provided by Acharya Institute of Technology are good, compared to hostels of other institutes. There are double and triple sharing rooms, which cost around Rs. 1.1 and Rs. 1.47 lakhs per annum respectively. Inside the rooms, the institute provides tables and chairs to study. There are medical facilities available inside the campus.
- For internet services, the institute provides LAN for laptops only inside the rooms. There is WIFI connectivity at the corridor, where most social networking and online shopping sites are blocked. But, these sites can be accessed through LAN after 5 PM.
- Talking about the food in hostels, there is a 3-time meal system- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, the food is considered to be good, with both rice and chapatti in lunch and dinner. Sumber is a must.

- Now coming to the academic buildings, they are a big circle, and usually, it takes time to reach the building.

- The food joint is owned by some students. It is clean, hygienic, and affordable.
- The hostel also has every facility with regularly cleaned washrooms and others like geysers, fans, entertainment units, etc. thereby satisfying the daily needs of the students.

How is life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College?
One of my friends studied in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC). According to him it is a really great institution with its equal share of academics and extracurricular activities.
Here are some things you should know about it:
- It is known to be the top commerce colleges of Delhi University.
- The infrastructure is well maintained with proper buildings and sports ground. The only thing lacking is an auditorium.
- Here at SBSC, attendance is not scrutinized strictly. Students are given enough time to explore and work on themselves.
- Students willing to pursue any other professional degree along with their graduation, can also do that without any hassle with maintaining a certain attendance percentage.
- There are many clubs and societies like dance, drama, literature, etc. students can take part in and develop themselves holistically.
- The faculty members are well experienced and cooperative.
Overall the campus is really great with all the necessary facilities provided to the students, to build themselves up and become their best self.
What's the overall experience of an MBA at IIM Visakhapatnam?
My brother recently passed out from IIM Visakhapatnam and was all praise for the institute. Some major praises I heard from him were

What are the best things for Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith students to do on weekends?
At the Vidyapith campus, there is not much to do during weekends. But there are many places in Varanashi that you can visit during the weekend. Some of these places are-
- Old and famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
- The BHU campus and new Viswanath Temple.
- The famous ghats, such as Dashaswamedh Ghat and Assi Ghat.
- The Ramnagar Fort.
- The King Mansingh Fort.
There are also many eateries and restaurants near the campus that you can visit.
How is the social life of students of IIIT Kottayam and IIIT Bhopal, and where do they chill out during weekends?
My friend is currently studying at IIIT Bhopal and they usually get loads of assignments and projects which keep them really busy. All the IIITs are quite known for their hectic routine and getting 8 hours of sleep daily also becomes a chilling session at times.
Although you may not experience a super-happening college life which is often shown in movies. But you can still find good friends and enjoy the peaceful environment there at the campus.
However, my friend has listed some weekend chilling options you might want to know:
- You can head to DB City Mall, New Market for shopping.
- The advantage of being at IIIT Bhopal is you also get exposure to places like Lalghati, Jain Mandir, and Karond.
- Also, they now have a Training and Placement cell of MANIT where you can chill more often.
At the end of the day, engineering is never easy and always has a packed schedule. It all depends on how you manage to keep studies and enjoyment balanced without compromising in either of them.
Which college is the best in terms of college atmosphere, faculty, higher studies, internships and placements: RVCE, PES University or MIT Manipal?
Considering all factors like atmosphere, higher studies, faculty base, placements, internship, etc. PES University is better.
It offers an ideal environment for studies. The much-rumored strictness on campus is stereotyped. There are a few basic rules that you need to follow as a student, but these are manageable.
The campus is an amazing place to be in. There are many student-run societies and clubs in which you can take part.
It offers good placements and internship opportunities. PES University placements highlights of 2022 stats an average CTC of INR 6.5 LPA, and the highest CTC of INR 49.75 LPA.
