What is the cutoff for Sardar Patel Engineering College for CSE?

AS
Aisha Sharma Posted On : April 12th, 2023
B.Tech from Sardar Patel College of Engineering

Cutoffs for admission can vary from year to year and are often influenced by factors such as the number of applicants, the quality of the applicant pool, and the availability of seats.

It's important to note that admission to engineering colleges in India is typically based on an entrance exam such as JEE Main or other state-level exams. These exams serve as a primary factor in determining the cutoff for admission to specific programs.

It would be recommended to check the official website of SPEC, as well as the websites of the organizations responsible for administering entrance exams in India, for the most up-to-date information on admission cutoffs and requirements for the CSE program at SPEC.

How are GNDU placements and the cut-off?

HN
Harshita Nair, Posted On : November 10th, 2021
B.Tech in CSE from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (2020)

GNDU Amritsar placements are not good but it is gradually becoming better with time.

From an engineering point of view, it is quite behind top technical colleges like the NITs. You can expect placements from mostly service-based companies like TCS, Accenture, and Wipro.

Categories GNDU Amritsar
Cut Off  Upto 1,75,000
Placement Percentage 70-80%
Highest CTC 10-12 LPA
Average CTC 5-8 LPA
Lowest CTC 2-3.5 LPA

GNDU Amritsar curriculum was outdated a few years and has recently been updated by current industry standards, which has been beneficial for students.

What is the recent GD-PI cutoff of IBS Hyderabad?

SS
Suraj Kumar Shrivastava Posted On : February 15th, 2023
MBA in Marketing, ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad (Graduated 2018)

Firstly IBS Hyderabad does not reveal its ISBAT or GD-PI cutoffs. You are not informed about your individual scores let alone your GD-PI scores. The students who get shortlisted are sent an invitation letter for the GD-PI round. Once you have successfully completed the round and have been selected, GD-PI performance along with the college campus allotted to you. However, these marks serve no purpose of cutoffs and therefore should not be considered a general cutoff. Many candidates who got 98 percentile get selected while many with even 78 percentile. Their criteria is unpredictable and therefore no cutoff is fixed.

Can a student with 50.7% in 12th get into IIFT Delhi after getting 71% in undergraduation, and get a good placement?

JT
Jayant Thakur Posted On : April 29th, 2023
Studied at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi

Yes, with this score IIFT Delhi will accept you. But it also depends on your undergraduate performance, IIFT entrance exam scores, and qualifications and experience.

IIFT is well-connected to worldwide trade and commercial companies for placements. However, a student's placement possibilities rely on their qualifications, experience, and job search efforts. IIFT's admittance process is quite competitive.

Thus, you should prepare effectively for the entrance exam, have a great résumé and/or work experience, and network with alumni and other field specialists to increase your chances of admission.

With an AIR of 3071 and a GATE score of 537, what are the odds of getting into IIIT-Allahabad?

SA
Subham Agarwal Posted On : April 22nd, 2023
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad

Based on your AIR of 3071 and GATE score of 537, you have a fair chance of getting into IIIT-Allahabad for an M.Tech program. However, the actual odds of admission depend on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the cutoff scores of the institute.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • IIIT-Allahabad has a good reputation for its M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The institute receives a large number of applications every year, which increases the competition for admission.
  • The cutoff scores for admission to IIIT-Allahabad can vary from year to year based on the number of applications received and the performance of the applicants. Hence, it is difficult to predict the exact odds of admission.
  • In general, a GATE score of 537 is considered decent for admission to IIIT-Allahabad, and with an AIR of 3071, you are likely to be shortlisted for the further admission process.
  • IIIT-Allahabad follows a rigorous admission process that includes a written test and/or an interview. Your performance in these tests will also determine your chances of getting admission to the institute.
  • It is important to note that the odds of admission can vary based on the specialization you are applying for. Some specializations may be more competitive than others, and the cutoff scores may be higher.

In conclusion, while your GATE score and AIR are decent, it is difficult to predict the exact odds of getting admission to IIIT-Allahabad. However, with a good performance in the further admission process, you may increase your chances of securing a seat in the institute.

What is the cutoff for a BCA at Holkar Science College?

NR
Nikita Rai, Posted On : November 22nd, 2021
BCA from Holkar Science College, Indore (2019)

The cutoff for a BCA at Holkar Science College is approximately 85-90% in the first list. This will be followed by the second and third lists, if students from the first list do not join the college. The second list the cut off will be around 80% and for the third list it will be around 70-75%. This is for the general category students.

Students who belong to the SC or ST category will have the cut off around 60-65%.

If you wish to do BCA from Holkar Science College then it is suggested that you change your decision. Holkar Science College is not quite good for BCA, as the course started recently and is relatively new. It does not hold much experience. If you want to study here then opt for a B.Sc. than a BCA.

Can we get admission in FMS Delhi with 97 or 98 percentile and 1 year of work experience?

HN
Hardik Nagar Posted On : May 2nd, 2023
CAT 2016: 96.05

No. If you are from the General Category, you should have 99+ percentile. From what I know, job experience doesn't matter in the interview process. You will only be asked about your work at the interview, which will only happen if you do well enough on the CAT. So, work on getting a 99+ score on the CAT and do well in Extempore/PI if you get a call.

FMS is one of the few schools that cares less about what you did in the past. If you work hard, you might be able to make it.
