PDM University is not recognized by the ICAR but the university has started a new course for undergraduate students which is meant for the development of new technologies in agriculture.

  • Placement: The placement activities are pretty good and the highest salary package offered is 3 Lakhs per annum. The average salary package offered ranges from Rs 25, 000 to Rs 26, 000 per month. The percentage of students who get placed is above the average of 70%. The jobs were offered in agriculture companies and food processing companies. What is the last date for admission into LPU for the BSc Hons Agriculture course? What is the scope of this course and the fee for the 4-year course?

The registrations for the LPU BSc Hons Agriculture course began on December 1, 2023. The last date to apply for the course is May 31, 2024. The session will start from the 2nd week of August.

However, these are tentative dates so you should keep checking the official website to know any changes in dates. Also, I would recommend you not wait for the last date and apply as early as possible. You can also take the LPUNEST exam to avail of up to 50% scholarship on the total program fee. The total course fee of this course is INR 14 lakhs including the hostel fees. 

The scope of this course is great as you get to have hands-on learning of the subject. The placement percentage of 2023 for this course was 93% and the highest package was INR 9 LPA.

Yes, you are eligible to pursue a BSc agriculture course from LPU. The LPU’s official website states that you need a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 to apply for the LPU BSc agriculture course.

I would recommend you also take the LPUNEST exam to get a scholarship. If you perform well on the test, you will be able to secure a scholarship.
